Earning Tokens
Tokens are the primary currency in Ai Tycoon. They are earned passively by your servers and can be spent on more hardware, upgrades, or withdrawn to the website.
What Determines Your Income

Number of Servers
More servers installed across all racks means more output. Doubling your server count roughly doubles your income.

Server Type
Higher-tier servers generate more tokens per cycle. Upgrading server models is one of the most effective ways to boost earnings.

Upgrades
Purchases like Efficient Processors and Water Cooling multiply your overall generation rate on top of the base server output.

💡 Tokens continue to accumulate even while you are offline. Log back in to collect and reinvest your earnings.
The Income Formula
Every 5 seconds the game adds up the base rate of all your servers and applies your global upgrade multiplier. The result is floored to a whole number of tokens.
income = baseIncome × upgradeMultiplier- baseIncome— the sum of every installed server's base rate (see Servers & Racks).
- upgradeMultiplier — starts at 1 and grows with your Efficient Processors and Water Usage upgrades (see Upgrades).

As a small floor, any cycle that produces income gets +1 token added before rounding, so an active data centre always ticks up.
